Kicking Off in Derby, CT
Production on Charlton Comics: The Movie kicked off in late November on a blustery Sunday morning on the grounds of the old Charlton Press site on Division Street in Derby, Connecticut. Paul Kupperberg, famous from his amazing body work at DC Comics, and most recently known for being the "man who killed Archie Andrews" joined us for a solid hour of all things Charlton.
Paul told us tales of his days writing at Charlton, and also spoke at length about the all-new Charlton Comics revival that they are calling Charlton Neo. Paul is also assisting us in producing Charlton Comics: The Movie from the side of the creative talent that emerged from the Derby based publisher. We're excited to be working with Paul as he is one of the nicest and sharp witted guys in comics that you'll ever meet!
So, the Charlton Movie project was in good hands as we got off to a raucous start on that November morning! Upward and onward 4-color fans!
